Daniel DeKoter is a practicing lawyer and a partner at DeKoter, Thole, Dawson & Rockman, PLC. He is an alumnus of Calvin College, graduating with a degree in Philosophy and English. Attorney DeKoter meanwhile received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Iowa and graduated with high distinction.  Today, his law practice centers on civil litigation, including personal injury, business disputes, and insurance defense; estate planning and administration, and business and employment law.

 

With the law firm based in Sibley, Iowa, Attorney Daniel DeKoter currently serves at the Village Northwest Unlimited Board.  He is a former member of the Sibley Library Board, Sibley Kiwanis, Northwest Iowa Humane Society, and Iowa Bar Association Legal Forms Committee. He has also represented clients throughout Sioux, Lyon, O’Brien, Dickinson, and Osceola counties in Iowa, and Jackson and Nobles counties in Minnesota.  In addition, Attorney DeKoter is a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, a group exclusive for lawyers who have secured multi-million-verdicts and settlements for clients.

 

Attorney DeKoter was raised in Maurice and Orange City and attended MOC High School. Today, he lives in Dickinson, Iowa, with his two children.
