A partner at DeKoter, Thole, Dawson & Rockman, PLC, Daniel DeKoter is a practicing lawyer based in Sibley, Iowa. He graduated from Calvin College in 1977, with a degree in Philosophy and English. 1980, he obtained his Juris Doctorate from the University of Iowa, where he graduated with high distinction. His general practice is concerned with civil litigation, including personal injury, business disputes, and insurance defense; business and employment law, and estate planning and administration.

 

Securing multi-million-dollar verdicts for clients, Attorney Daniel DeKoter is a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. He currently serves at the Village Northwest Unlimited Board and is a former member of the Sibley Library Board, Sibley Kiwanis, Northwest Iowa Humane Society, where he served as president, and Iowa State Bar Association Legal Forms Committee, where he served as a chair member. He has represented clients throughout Sioux, Lyon, O’Brien, Dickinson, and Osceola counties in Iowa, and Jackson and Nobles in Minnesota.

 

Attorney Daniel DeKoter was raised in Maurice and Orange City. Today, he resides in Dickinson, Iowa, with his two children.
